If you are serving a fruit salad you can use a pineapple to serve the salad instead of a regular glass or ceramic bowl. For this you need a medium-sized or large pineapple. Discard any brown or discolored leaves from the pineapple and trim the top. Cut the pineapple into two equal parts and cut a thin strip of the pineapple to make the base. Remove the core of the pineapple by using a serrated knife and scoop out the flesh from each half. You can use this pineapple bowl to hold a fruit salad or salsa.
Note that wall paints are available in various textures, and each one of them gives different feel. So, after selecting your dining room color, select the type of paint you want to use. Paints with a satin finish give glossy feel and are very durable, while those with a matte finish do not reflect light. It is recommended that you consult a professional so that you can make the best choice of paint colors.
The colors for a dining room should be decided depending upon the size and shape of the dining room and also the furniture. Take a look at the texture and design of the upholstery in your dining room and choose colors that will meld well and complement other colors in the dining room. Moreover, if the dining room is connected to some other room of your house, you also need to ensure that the colors of both the rooms do not clash and give an overall elegant look.
