Choose a style that is appropriately sized for the room in which it will be placed. For instance, if you have a small dining area or small dining room, you should go with a smaller dining table. A big dining room can handle larger tables. Also leave room for people to traverse the dining area and be seated comfortably without worry of bumping into the wall or one another. Leave at least four feet between the table's edge and the wall or other furniture in the room. An average dining table is around three feet across at minimum - smaller than that and you have little or no room to place your food on the table - and larger makes it difficult to carry on conversation with people seated across from you.
Articulate flower arrangements will make the room look fresh in a very subtle way. The arched wooden cabinet with dainty china is all you need to finish the home decorating part for your traditional and formal dining room!
If you had the choice, would you rather have a big kitchen to cook in or a big dining room with plenty of space for friends to sit around the table and kibitz? It's a tough one, and we turned to our fellow New Yorkers to see what they had to say.
Black on black is the perfect way to bring a rich twist to a modern space. This style is not only trendy, but it works very well in a space that needs darker hues to balance the space. Have a black table paired with black chairs to create the black on black color scheme.
